Hi Everyone
Over at Stampotique this week is Vintage
and I have used Stitch stamped in memento express ink and coloured in with walnut stain distress ink with water to dilute.
I firstly got a tag and stamp random background script with Tea dye distress ink.
I then used a Tim Holtz stencil and inked through with black soot distress ink.
I then took crushed olive and tea dye distress ink and put some on my craft mat and added water to give a vintage background when I swooshed the piece of watercolour card through it.  Dried with a heat gun and stamped Stitch onto it.
The saying this week is from the Internet from Lucy Liu
‘Everything I buy is vintage and smells funny.  Maybe that’s why I don’t have a boyfriend’

The embellishments are from my crafty stash and have been lying in wait for a vintage theme for ages!
I have used a rusty key (picked up from a car boot sale)
Flowers made out of organza rolled around my finger and sewn together.
Velvet brown ribbon, ruler ribbon, cream ribbon and a crochet small Dollie and finally a bottle top from a party, an embossed face put into it and glossy accents covering the image.

Vintage indeed!

I am also entering this  into the following challenges:
Say it with words – A Vintage Journey
Letters, Words and Numbers – Artistic Stamper
 Take care
