This week I found the technique ‘interesting’ with the tissue folded in a certain way.Will I do it this way again, possibly not, but I will definitely make the ’tissue flowers’ but use other techniques I like better. I made 2, 1x 2ins and 1×3 ins and put one inside the other.

I love the tissue paper and my fingers got all messy with inking up the flowers with a marvey blending block in ‘shades of orange’ and spraying them with moon glow spritz(works like perfect pearls). I touched up the ends with stazon ink in Fuchsia Pink.  All these items came out of the dusty caverns of my stash, hidden at the back of drawers and I’m sure you have them too – purchased yonks ago and forgotten.

I used a stamp set from Paper Artsy ‘Life’s a garden, dig it’ and this time used chalk inks over a watercolour paper tag, covered with the above inks and sprays, finishing off with ribbon, cord, Tim Holtz ‘odds and ends’ tag and a pearl in the centre of the flower.

I’ve had a sort out this week and bought myself a set of 10 drawers on casters and put all my inks and current crafty bits I use in them as I was sick of tripping over boxes and having to move 3 of them to get in a drawer – you know what I mean!! Result was I found stuff never used or forgotten about and so these have gone to the top of my list to use on the next few projects!  The only unfortunate thing is I’ve not found any ‘lost’ money hidden in any of the goodies (like down a sofa  LOL).
