  • Cut and dry foam for use with the Distress Inks.

  • Rounded corner punch.
  1. Use the scallop hole punch and punch around the white cardstock.  You do not need to be particular when it comes to the corners as these will be covered up with the spellbinder corners.
  2. Cut the pink background paper 4.75 ins square and punch around this with the scallop hole punch, again not being particular at the corners.
  3. Die cut the flowers and spray non-permanent glue to the back to use as a mask and place on the white cardstock side by side.
  4. Take the distress inks in red and use your cut and dry foam to colour around the masks. Start with the lightest shade of red and use the darker reds for shading in strategic places on the card.   Lift the masks off the white card.  You should now have white silhouette outlines where the masks have been.
  5. Glue the white card to the pink card and round the corners off.
  6. Take the stripy cardstock and punch the fleur de lis border on each side of the strip of card.
  7. Glue the plaid ribbon to it.
  8. Stamp with Versamark the butterfly and saying ‘Live life Laugh Often’ onto pink cardstock. Emboss with Ebony super fine embossing powder
  9. Die cut the Spellbinder corner die with the same pink cardstock and cut out 4 corners.
  10. Cut out the butterfly and use the Nellie Snellen circle die to cut out the words.
  11. Then use the stripy paper to die cut the Nellie Snellen scallop circle.

  12. Go around the scallop circle with fired brick distress ink , giving it depth
  13.  Make up the card putting the corners on last covering the corners of the main picture.  If any of the white or pink card shows through the top hole, trim with scissors or a craft knife.
  14. Add a pink bow to the bottom of the stem, for dimension.
