A big thanks to Somerset Studio Gallery for sharing some of my Growth Journal. What's that? It's where I try out all sorts of things and see what happens. And yes...there is even brown happening in there. I am over the moon honored to be in here with so many talented artists!
For this layout I dragged out my Grand Peony Dies from Spellbinders to create a fuller flower. I've also handcut some cute little Bitty Blossoms. I made a mix of some of Donna's new Blue Pigment Powder with some water to create a paint and brushed it onto the edges of the flowers and then along the corrugations to add some delicious shimmer!

Hi Roadies! Jocelyn here on the blog today. I'm sharing a couple of cards with new Maya Road products. As soon as I saw the You Are My Sunshine buttons, I knew I had to use them as owl eyes. I threaded them with the Shine Gold cording.

Today I'm headed to Milwaukee for the annual Bead and Button Show sponsored by Bead and Button Magazine (Kalmbach Publishing). I'll be teaching three classes, attending the always-fabulous Meet the Teachers reception and, of course, shopping for some fantastic jewelry-making supplies.
