Metalic Love….

Hi Everyone
This week over at Stampotique is the theme of either Love or Anniversary.  This is my take on it.
I firstly got a tag and stuck ripped pieces of backing paper all over it then added a  layer of white acrylic paint.
I then used some texture paint through a diamond stencil and waited for it to dry.  I then let run over the tag some distress ink re inkers and again inked some more stencils and used distress ink through them.
I then stamped the Heart Tiles onto black card with Versamark and heat set with WOW Clear Embossing Powder.  Then coloured these in with H2O’s.  I then cut out all the hearts.
The metallic background is a piece of thick aluminium sheet glued onto a piece of card stock.  Then I added some alcohol inks to give it a coloured  metal look.  I then stamped the word collage in Stazon onto the alcohol ink.  With a thin dry embossing tool I went around the edges of each word then turned the image over and again outlined the words with a larger embossing tool  This makes the inside of the words pop out on the alcohol inked side.  With the small tool I then put dots all the way around the words giving the effect of nails.
I then added some lace for romance and all the cut out hearts I stuck on and around the word collage.
Have a wonderful week
Sue x

  1. A whole lot of love is evident here, Sue, by all those hearts! Love your step-by-step instructions on how you created this great tag! I definitely need some embossing tools, as I love how you have used them here! Thanks for inspiring us today as Guest Designer of the Month!!
