Hi Everyone

This time my stamp was crying out to be decoupaged with backing papers and coloured in which I haven’t done in ages, so I first embossed with WOW ebony embossing powder then coloured the stand and background in distress inks, splashing some water onto the background ink for a ‘spotty’ look.
The background paper was from a stamp packaging and I used a Martha Stuart punch down the sides. The tag is from a jumper I bought, covered with a piece of backing paper, the sentiment ‘new mum’ I printed off the computer and the flower is made from the flower loom I promised to show you a few weeks ago.
I love this flower loom, you can purchase/order them from Stampers Gallery (see left of this post) at about £8 each and you can vary the size of the flower. Instructions, pegs and a plastic needle come with it.
I have made flowers from curling ribbon (Heartfelt creations post – brace yourself) and this one was made from the wool I purchased from the charity shop a few weeks ago. I went around the loom 2 times. I then brushed the ‘spun sugar’ distress ink over the wool to give the ‘pink’ effect and added a button and candy.
The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is called ‘Pregnant Dressmakers Mannequin’
